. the fbi now says there is no evidence to support claims that hacking group anonymous infiltrated an fbi agent's laptop and lifted data for more than 12 million apple products. however the front page of "the financial times" lays it out and says hackers embarrass apple with this data release. there were over a million different devices, numbers were published online. this is a story that has many odd twists. the hackers said they would not give any interviews about this breach until a gawker posed with a ballet tutu with a shoe on his head for at least 24 hours. so the journalist did just that. he said that he would do anything for his craft. here is a picture of him posing in a tutu with a shoe on his head. anonymous went after this particular reporter because they've had some run-ins with him in the past. they haven't liked some of his reporting. he says, here it is. it's still posted on the front page of gawker. >> this is the best publicity gawker could possibly have today. >> really? >> i mean, right, a reporter with a tutu and a shoe on his head? >> what's more frighten is what's a

, the fbi is now looking into the police killing of an unarmed wheelchair-bound amputee in houston. the police officer who fired the fatal shot says he was cornered by the wheelchair and feared his partner was threatened. it turned out the dead man was holding only a ballpoint pen. civility rights groups say it's just another example of excessive force. >> this man wants us to believe that a man in a wheelchair with a writing pen in his hand was such a threat that you felt deadly force was necessary. >> the victim apparently suffered from mental health issues and had become agitated and angry before police were called. >>> a former university of alabama professor who admitted that she gunned down three colleagues now faces life in prison. amy bishop pled guilty, being spared the death penalty, she pled guilty and was. bishop did not speak in court. but her attorneys say she was sorry for the victims and their families. shil she could face a trial in massachusetts charged in the 1986 killing of her 18-year-old brother. >>> it looked like high tide at a north florida beach in more wa
, as the fbi and other agencies try to figure out who carried out the malicious attack that killed ambassador chris stevens and three other americans. >> i want to assure you, we will bring their killers to justice. >> reporter: the attack was complex and preplanned. likely, for the anniversary of september 11th. it was around 10:00 at night in libya. 20 heavily armed attackers began firing at the libyan security guards, protecting the american consulate, before setting the main building ablaze. inside, ambassador stevens and several others were trapped between the flames and the gunfire. stevens became separated from the others by the heavy, black smoke, while trying to exit the building. it was nearly a five-hour gun battle. additional security eventually regained some control, while employees escaped. but the buildings are now abandoned. it was also nearly 12 hours before ambassador stevens' body was returned by local libyans, who carried him to a hospital in an effort to save him. a contingent of some 50 u.s. marines is now at the embassy in tripoli this morning. every u.s. mission around
